Group Rethink

An excellent article in MIT's Technology Review shows how technology tools such as social networks, blogs, and wikis are helping pave the way for greater group knowledge. Author Michael Fitzgerald says that the idea of collective intelligence is that groups, then, can act as parallel-processing decision engines, pooling disparate knowledge to answer even hard questions in areas like public policy.
